PeoplePlus Volunteer Fair... Working in partnership PeoplePlus Business Leader Paula Corrigan and NCI Volunteer Development Manager Allison Wood held their first Volunteer Fair at Langdale House Workington. Many local organisations including West House, Age UK West Cumbria, Royal British Legion, Scouts, Dementia Friends (Age UK West Cumbria) and Neighbourhood Care Independence were available to chat and were on hand to provide first hand volunteering opportunities, also information and advice on their services. Paula said "I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, hopefully the start of much more to come". Pictures of the event below:
