The Big Chinwag...
Many people throughout the UK joined "The Big Chinwag" to have a good natter and to help raise funds for lonely older people.  Sadly more than a million people in the UK go for a month without seeing or speaking to anyone.  The funds raised will enable Age UK to tackle loneliness in later life.

We had a great "Chinwag" and enjoyed pizza, hotdogs, cake and more cake served up with lots of tea...we had a good natter too!

On Thursday 25th June 2015 at the United Reform Church, Main Street, Cockermouth 1.30 to 3pm.  Come along and find out more about volunteering...organisations attending include Citizens Advice Allerdale, Cumbria Fire and Rescue, NCI West Cumbria and many more!

Ewanrigg Fun Day Maryport...
A great "Fun Day" held today Sunday 14th June at the heart of Ewanrigg, the event was organised by Local Trust Project Worker Bev Steele and the team of Ewanrigg Community Centre...thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.  The event was well supported - fundraising, face painting, plant stall, volunteering opportunities etc.
