Two days to go...

The Jennings Rivers Ride in the heart of the Lake District - a series of four bike rides which start and finish in Keswick is a charity fundraising event...the third annual Jennings Rivers Ride takes place Sunday 25th May 2014.  The event starts at Fitz Park, Station Road, Keswick.  Come along and enjoy the day in Fitz Park, entertainment organised for the day...

AgeUK West Cumbria Fit 4 the Future Project Manager Steve Barna has organised a team to take part in the event (I am one of the team!), organising bikes and helmets etc. for the big day.  We're all looking forward to the cycle ride - good luck to everyone talking part in the event!

Are you keen to make new friends?
Maybe you just want to get out of the house more, or maybe you’ve recently retired, and are finding the days difficult to fill now that you’re no longer going to work or perhaps you’re new to the area...
If you find that the afternoons drag on sometimes, why not come and join our informal group? Meet up with others also keen to try to find something new...

Together for a healthier future...
Cumbria Action for Health is a network of third sector organisations with a health and wellbeing focus. Meeting held today with the community and voluntary sector at St Michaels's Church Workington included presentations by Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group, discussion groups and an opportunity to network...further information to follow!
