Allonby Fundraising Walk...
On Saturday 16th May volunteers took part in an Age UK West Cumbria Fundraising Charity Walk  at Allonby.  The event was organised by Hazel Stewart of Age UK West Cumbria and was well attended by volunteers, colleagues and friends.  The weather was bright and sunny, rather breezy with a bit of a nip in the air (should have worn my hat)...but absolutely glorious!  Hazel said "We couldn't have wished for a nicer day, it was absolutely lovely.  I would just like to thank all those who gave their time to participate in the event and also forward my thanks to all those who supported walkers".

Interested in volunteering and would like further information contact Helpline 08443 843 843 or telephone Allison Wood 01900 844670

  • Advice & Support volunteers
  • Volunteer Befrienders
  • Practical Volunteer Advisors
  • Volunteer Administrators
  • Volunteer Event Organisers
Take the time during Deaf Awareness Week 2015 and give your support to someone in your local community.
